Rue Saint Jacques is a small and cozy neighborhood, Family owned, southern French, and Californian Cuisine restaurant.
Chef Lanvert uses local, fresh, organic and natural products. We believe in sustainability and environmental preservation.
We are located very close to the Grace Cathedral, the Masonic center, The Mark Hopkins Hotel and other major venues in San Francisco.
Chef Lanvert comes from the Roussillon Region in France, where the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenées cross path.
Therefore he benefited very young from the local bounty of that region which ironically resembles to the Bay area with its proximity to the Sierra and the Pacific Ocean.
The menu changes every day as products in the region vary a lot. You could very well be crossing Chef Lanvert´s Path at a local Farmers Market near you.
